 Welcome to our website

Welcome to Clayton Brook Primary School

Clayton Brook Primary School is a warm and friendly school, where everyone is valued for their individuality and is nurtured to be happy and successful. We have a very caring ethos and provide a safe and nurturing environment where everyone can feel valued and supported. Our school believes that the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of your children is paramount.

We have high expectaions for our children's attainment and their behaviour. Through our Creative Curriculum we ensure a broad and balanced curriculum is delivered to our children which allows for all subject areas to be embedded across themes. This allows our children to learn in a meaningful and relevant manner which inspires and motivates at all stages of their development.

At Clayton Brook Primary School we believe that it is the responsibility of all staff to ensure that all members of the school community irrespective of gender, ethnicity, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientaion, age or any other recognised area of discrimination are treated as equal and allowed to fully participate in all school activities.

We have an active Parents' Support Group who regularly meet to discuss school improvement. Each class has a parent representative who acts as a 'voice' for all parents of children in school. If you have any concerns you wish to discuss with your Parents' Forum representative please ring school for thier contact details.

At present we  have 6 classes:

Reception, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4 Y5 and 6

We have a 'Breakfast Club' which opens every day from 8.15am. This is well attended and gives the children a healthy start to the day.

We also have a part time Nursery, which children can attend from the      age of 3.

'We also have an outreach programme 'Clayton and Whittle Family Centre' which supports eight local schools with speech and language and/or family support.'

The school day begins at 8.50am with the register completed at 9am. School closes at 3.15pm

We are very proud to be judged as 'GOOD' at our latest Ofsted Inspection;   The full report is available to view on the Ofsted Inspection page here on our website.
